MITS of Virginia rents accessible vans, wheelchairs, scooters and ramps for your short term needs. Perhaps this is a good avenue to help a family member feel comfortable with an accessible option. Often it is just the ticket for a temporary or periodic need of an individual.

Veteran Case Worker

MITS of Virginia loves its Veterans. If you’re injuries are service connected, you will likely qualify to have most, if not all, your costs paid by the Veteran office. That’s right, for qualified individuals, the VA Administration is currently paying $18,900 on a chassis plus the cost of the recommended conversion. If you are fully connected, you need to check with your Prosthetics Department to see if you are qualified for assistance programs. MITS has its own Veteran Case Management Specialist, Steve Chandler, who can answer any questions you may have. MITS of Virginia works with any veteran office no matter what state they live in.
